The Language Conservancy, in collaboration with Wikitongues, National Sawdust and the Endangered Language Alliance, invite you to attend a special screening of Rising Voices/Hótȟaŋiŋpi in New York City for UNESCO’s International Mother Language Day, February 21 at 3-4 PM at National Sawdust (Brooklyn).
The screening will be followed by a Q&A with the Producer, Lawrence Hott (Florentine Films/Hott Productions), and Executive Producer Wilhelm Meya. Join us for a celebration to honor every language in the world! All festivities are free and family friendly, including language lessons, song & dance performances, and an open mic for all those who want to share their languages.
